Brandon got to pitch for the first time at this game (6/4) in Eureka...because it's fairly far away, and it was a late-starting game, just Peter went with him. (He took these pics with his iPhone.) Brandon was pretty frustrated with how he did; I don't think he fully understood how big a task it is to play pitcher! Peter told him that he didn't do the worst, so he could be glad about that. I encouraged him to accept his first experience as a pitcher for what it was...a start, and he as he practices, he'll only get better from here on out...I also told him to focus on the positive things he did.......
On June 5th, Peter went to meet Jeanine and kids to pick up Rylee's newly adopted kitty so we could babysit her. They were headed to the middle-of-nowhere, UT, so we offered to have her stay with us. I think both me and Peter were curious to see how it would be to have two cats, and to see how Molly would react. The opportunity certainly provided entertainment for us all, as well as frustration for us all. Molly did NOT like this kitty (Rylee called her Mittens). And this kitty didn't NOT like Molly. For being so little, she was QUITE feisty!! By the 7th, Molly was adjusting; she was pretty calm. This little thing was totally asking for it by then! In the end, we do not want to have two cats... ;-) I thought I'd share the pics Peter took with his phone though; such a cute bitty kitty, no?!!
