12/8/09--taken from the edge of my back door (couldn't step out or i would've had instantly snowy socks!) looking eastward
for those of you who might be wishing for a white Christmas, i have had plenty to go around for all of us already (this is the most snow that has fallen before the holiday in the four years we've lived here), and i will still have a plethora in two days! so, feel the vicarious whiteness! ;-)
ditto what i said below the above photo..!
as much of a pain in my back and shoulder the snow can be, it is more so a beautiful delight!
