After getting caught up on my sister-in-law's new blog, and before this year is completely over, I decided it was high time I look at my blog for the first time in 2012...
A lot has happened since I last posted, but then again, not a lot has happened. Life continues on in its generally simple, mellow way. That's not to say we haven't had our share (and then some) of adventures--fun and not so much so.
I'd really like to be able to say that I am going to pick up where I left off in my blogging and bring y'all up to date, but most of my pictures for 2011 & 2012 were recently lost. :( Words cannot fully describe my grief & frustration over this! It literally makes me feel sick. I am so glad I am one of those people who generally posts a lot of pictures in fb-land, so I at least have those. Perhaps I can figure out how to save them out of fb-land and into my pictures again--then I can share them with you here. (I'll have to remember to look into that...)
I am ready for this year to end. Though I was extremely blessed to remarry in July, and I am blessed to have so much time with my wonderful children, it has been a challenging year. I'm certainly not saying that I expect 2013 to not be challenging, but I am ready for a new beginning and a fresh start in a more grand way than with what comes with each month, each week, each day, each hour, each minute. I do hope & pray that I can implement in the new year what I have learned in the face of my difficult times in this year. I'd like to do better with this blog o' mine; I am not making any promises, but I know I don't have to do too much to do better than I did this year...HA! ;-)
