another one for B

Brandon lost his first molar on Saturday the 10th; he showed me how loose it was at the mexican restaurant we were at to belatedly celebrate Eileen's birthday...and i said, "whoa--let me try to pull it out." to which B a bit whinily responded, "no...!" (my boys are so afraid of me pulling out their teeth, but they're getting better as they realize that it's actually not so bad and i'm NOT going to yank it unless it's ready--although i might maybe just try to loosen it a bit more while i'm in there...oh wait, maybe that's why they're afraid.) :) i reassured him, grabbed a napkin, and pulled it out with ease. the tooth fairy forgot to come Sunday night (i thought about whether or not to let her come during the day on Monday, but decided against it) but she made up for it when she delivered two $1 gold-ish coins Monday night! ......Ethan received the same from the tooth fairy; he finally wrote a note to her after losing yet another tooth--and i don't mean just losing it out of his mouth. i pulled out his bottom 2nd right tooth on December 19th (or so he says) and i put it in a baggie. he wanted to show Katie before giving it to the tooth fairy, but after showing it to her, it disappeared. though we searched high and low (and i went through the trash can three times) it was not to be found. and since then, either he or i have forgotten about/put off his note-writing. ...anyway, i heard it turned out to be quite the tricky manuever for the tooth fairy to pay a visit. can't go into the details here though, if you know what i mean...so, if you're curious, send me an email and i'll fill you in. ...i'm pretty impressed with her! Sure is a good thing that we have a second set of teeth that grow in! They are sure coming out in the Hartung home!

cute christmas slide show. i can't believe how big autumn is! and so pretty and so into dress up! fun fun. can't wait for those stages! i think the tooth fairy had a hard time visiting me one time too, when i was about ethan's age. i think she had to leave and come back twice in the night, because i kept "almost seeing her". good thing she's sneaky!
