...as if there had been any doubt in y'all's minds... :) ...i did a little cleaning on Saturday the 16th. when i was done, i had the urge to light the candle on the back of our toilet. it hadn't been lit in a long while. so, it was lit. then, one thing lead to another...Peter took a nap and i hung out in the family room with one of the boys. later, about 2 hours later, Peter came out and eventually mentioned the candle. oh. had forgotten all about it. he said yeah....it melted down the toilet. i had to go to the bathroom anyway, so i went to check it out. as soon as i saw it, i thought, wow--how cool! then i thought, it's art. after studying it from top to bottom for a minute, i relieved myself :) and then went back to tell Peter how neat-looking i thought it was...and that i left it as it was. so, after a couple of days of it putting a small smile on my face every time i saw it, i thought it was probably time to let it go. i photographed it and then enjoyed picking the wax off the toilet. (didn't like getting the tiny splatters off of our-gag!-grooved linoleum floor.) and of COURSE, i had to blog 'bout it..., so here y'all go!! :)

Hey April! OK... a little lesson on burning candles (ha!!!) - try putting the tall candles in a glass bowl before burning, and then when they burn down, you can re-burn them cuz now they look like a new candle inside a bowl!! Pretty cool huh!!!
