kitty-kitty, here

Our neighbors two doors down have a cat named Tiger that they adopted a while ago. She had kittens a few? months ago (don't remember exactly). We visited them a few times. I sorta tossed around the idea of adopting one of them. The one I liked most met a tragic fate. (Not going into the details right now; if you want to know, then ask.) Then, a handful of weeks later, the one we liked second best met a tragic fate as well. By the time I came around to a decision about adopting, my neighbor thought that her girls would miss the remaining kitty, and besides, she was set in her 'outdoor' lifestyle. (I'd rather have a primarily indoor cat...) We've visited her a couple of times. But, NOW she has been coming to visit us quite a bit in the last few weeks! She usually wanders up to our backyard when the kids are outside on the trampoline or just playing on the grass. Then we all usually end up out with her to pet her & watch her. I figured I ought to take some pictures so I could blog about it... :) ......Oh, Michael & Shelley, how much does she look like Maggie?? I've been wonderin'...

Autumn, Ethan and the kitty (Peter decided this evening to call her Steve; I said maybe Stevie, but not Steve--she's a girl...) on Tuesday.

Peter and the kids with the kitty on A's b-day

This was such a humorous sight... :)

Peter took this close-up of the kitty...by the way, she looks almost exactly like her mom...

This shot was take right before she pounced on--well, nothing... :)

THose are actually way cute pictures. I think Rian finally named her Bella. (when I told her we probably won't be naming the baby that). But stevie works great too.
SHe has been so funny lately. Tonight Brian was playing with her and the long measuring tape. SHe loved it.
