It was about STINKIN' time we set out to explore!! Once my broken glasses were released from recovery after a FINALLY SUCCESSFUL surgery, we left Andy's office building to head to Battery Park...
I'd noticed this FJ on our way in and up to Andy's office, but was too preoccupied with getting my glasses fixed to stop to take a picture. Luckily, it was still right there in front of the building when we came back down. Thought Peter would enjoy seeing a fellow blue FJ in the midst of New York City...couldn't escape the man, even though I was thousands of miles away...
Had to get a photo of us by the subway sign on the street...you see them SO many times in movies and TV shows--now I was finally touching one! And I was about to ride on the subway for the very first time!! ......Yeah, Andy thought I was kooky...but, I am, right?!? :)

Me and Karyn with the out-of-focus Statue of Liberty...SO, SO exciting to finally see her in real life, even though we weren't that close...It was cold along the city streets, but then here by the water?? HOLY BRRRRRR!!!

Makes me want to go again! We were hot while there and you were freezing! Too bad I couldn't have tagged along. Maybe next time....
