more ...oh, and happy birthday, Phil!! :)

here are some photos i wanted to share from when we went up the canyon (yes, ah-gin...!) last Saturday, the 5th. we invited a few different families to go with us, but my sisters didn't want to make the drive (can't really blame them--darn gas prices!) and our neighbors already had plans to go out to eat; i did call rather last-minute. so, off we went to enjoy a dinner on the mini-grill at our campsite. i had chicken marinated in Tony Roma's barbecue sauce--yum!--and the rest of the gang had hot dogs. it was really nice to hang out. and have a little quality conversation. after a while, Autumn and i headed for home. the guys were staying the night. Peter had invited Wade to come camp with them earlier, but he didn't know for sure if he was coming. turns out that right after A & i left, Wade, Tyler & Rylee showed up. of course, they all had a good time.


i took this picture shortly after there had been a sun-shower...i like it a lot.

my goodness...what quirky kids we have!!! :) Autumn looked away right at the last second; she's showing off her Pringles chip. Brandon looks a tad "pre-teen", I think. Ethan's just bein' Ethan.

Ethan said, "mom--take my picture!" isn't he so funny. ...it's a baby carrot.

awwww, how sweet!! (notice Brandon clutching the Pringles container; he and Autumn especially like them, like their dad...)

after Peter had taken a few shots of Autumn's face, trying to capture how dirty it was (they turned out blurry, by the way), she turned around and told him to take a picture of her back. i thought it was kinda funny. plus, you get to see how cute her hair looks after a recent cut. :)
