two days ago, we went to the new pool in the next town with Katie and Carlos. fun, fun. stayed cool (for a little bit, anyway) on a hot day. unfortunately, i got sunburned pretty bad on my shoulders. guess me & Brandon didn't goop enough sunscreen on. not good timing since i'll be trekkin' starting Wednesday. oh well...perhaps it'll help me feel a teeny-tad closer to the pioneers. :)
as you can see, it was bright. thank goodness for my sunglasses--though they're not dark enough, they are better than nothing.

Autumn sporting the 'tongue of concentration'...she played at that spot for a good while. I like how I caught some of the water drops in mid-air.
once we went over to the lap pool, Ethan could hardly be pulled away from jumping in to Carlos. or swimming from the side to Carlos. thanks again, Carlos! :) ...as you can see, Ethan hasn't quite figured out jumping in without plugging his nose.

Hee, hee!! :) Peter wasn't even in town to go with us... Plus, I think I would more closely resemble Matt coming down the slide than Peter would! :)
