after we had our fill at Rockefeller Center, we spied a Godiva store, and were lured across the street and through its doors. we ignored the inflated cost as we snatched up some exquisite chocolate treats. Andy ate her few immediately. me & Karyn just partook of one (maybe two?) and saved the rest for more focused savoring back at Andy's apartment. ...what fabulous bites of 'mouth joy'!!!!!

i had the idea to try to make it look like i was holding the shiny, Christmas balls...
there was a guy dressed up as Santa nearby, taking pictures with passers-by, and hoping for donations. actually, there were two of them. anyway, i can't remember if they were trying to get the money for themselves or for some charity. we weren't planning on requesting a photo-op with Santa, but i guess there was a lull for this guy, because after i'd taken a picture of Karyn with the balls, he came up to her and did this! :) crazy New Yorker...! ;-)
