Better late than never, I frequently say & live by....
Missy was in desperate need of a haircut...me & K (who, in case you don't remember, does hair) decided to have her go ahead and cut it short for spring/summer, especially since Missy does NOT like having her hair done, and I don't care enough to push the issue with her...this was taken right before on April 10th...
The next day, the kids & I went over to Jeanine's for a birthday (MINE, in case you didn't realize/know) lunch and egg-dyeing. The cousins (Eileen & fam were there too) also did their own hiding and finding of plastic eggs filled with candy down in J's basement. All total, I think they did 3 different hunts! (The weather was pretty crappy that day...) In this photo, you can see A's new haircut and B's zany style (I'll be glad when that hat from Tyler doesn't fit him anymore), as well as their goofy-sweet personalities...... :)
E busy dyeing
Call me what you'd like, but this was the first year I let A have 'mostly-full' range at egg dyeing. (It's not one of my favorite traditions, mostly because of the inevitable mess, and I don't mean just the colors.) Take note: she's wearing a headband! Like I said above, it's a rarity for her to have anything in her hair. And once she does, it only stays there for a couple of hours at the most. Seeing her in this sweater (from Grandma Lis & Papa Phil) reminded me how much she has loved it; she wears it almost every day--if I let her! :) The shirt also happens to be from them as well... Anyway......
