12/21/09--yes, it's yet another hair color for me. :) my dear friend Karyn, who does hair, tells me she has never known anyone whose hair lightened as much and as quickly as mine. (i feel so honored! hee.) so this time, we tried a dark brown. yes, i promise you, that's what the box that housed the tube said! no, i'm not joshin' ya. this IS only two days old, but still... i was quite shocked by how BLACK it turned out, and i still get a bit of a surprise when i look in the mirror, but i LIKEY.......do you?? ;-)
and since more of you than i probably realize still haven't seen my new (as of a year ago, after the NYC trip hullabaloo with my previous pair) glasses, here you go...

LOVE your hair! i too have hair that does not take dark or stay dark. the few times i've tried to go dark, i've had to dye it MUCH darker than the shade i wanted it to be, knowing it would be practically blond again in a day or so. and it was always a shock to see the dark hair! but i think it looks good on you. on me, it always makes me look way to washed out. maybe if i had a hollywood makeup artist doing it... :)
