...i mean, really??!? where DOES the time go?? craziness..! .......Autumn had a party with her friends on her actual birthday. she could hardly contain herself beforehand. or understand when exactly it was going to take place. (her difficulty grasping increments of time is amusing to me. and at times, kind of annoying. it has got to be frustrating for her though, so i ought to take a little lesson from her and deal with it as calmly as she does.) she had about 13 friends come to help her celebrate at the neighborhood park. she had such a great time that she still occasionally talks about it. and occasionally she wonders when she'll turn 5. even saying she wants to be 5 now. i'm pretty certain that's only because she wants to go to Kindergarten. anyway, here are four of my favorite photos that i took at the event...
A helped me pick out the party stuff at the dollar store. we got headbands for everyone and wings for the girls. a few of the boys wanted wings--gotta love the unabashed moments of that age--but i had already decided to get them Frisbees.
the food selections were made by A. i offered her alternatives to cupcakes/cake, and you can see that she jumped on one. (Jeanine thinks the combination is disgusting. ha! the kids loved it.)
i snapped this right after the wind snuffed out her candle's flame. her expression is priceless.
again, her expression says it best as to how she felt about her presents..!
