any chance Ethan gets to have something unique done to his hair, he is all over it--jumping (and goofy-giggling) for joy! when Katie and i saw colored hair spray at the store, we thought of it for B. immediately, Ethan practically busted out of his skin, frantically declaring that wasn't fair and he wanted some, while grabbing at other color options. we told him he could just share the blue with B. he was elated. (he regularly, though not too often, asks me why he can't dye his hair...)

Brandon had a challenging time deciding on a costume this year. initially, he was going to take his box costume of last year and alter it into a Lego block, but we waited too long, and unfortunately the paints we have didn't cover the box look. so, we brainstormed and threw our ideas out at him on the eve of Halloween Eve. he liked my idea of 'just out of the shower', but we couldn't find a shower cap and he didn't want to do it without one. Katie suggested 'BYU fan', given that he is, and we have so much paraphernalia. took it up a notch with the hair color and face paint (and some of Katie's make-up).
before we headed out to visit Peter's office...they had a spook alley, a haunted hallway and trick-or-treating. one guy even had Rock Band set up in his desk area. apparently, they like Halloween at his work!
that hair and face color really brings out your eyes, Bran-dino!
