WAY TO GO...! Part 2

Ethan scored HIS first-ever soccer goal at his game yesterday evening, but guess what...no one was there to see it, which was exactly what happened with Brandon!!! ARGH! Peter is out of town again--this time for work--and I had to run home and get showered before having to pick him up and then get to an activity at the church for the trek we're going on at the end of July. I'm quite irked with myself though, 'cause if I'd had my act together, I would've exercised and showered earlier in the day...I've been sick and not sleeping well (or enough) and so I was in bed resting when I should have been gettin' goin' on my list of things to do! Double ARGH!! What a slacker mom am I! ...Turns out, it was the first game his team has won this season (and tomorrow they have their last game)... It was HORRIBLY windy & dusty though, so if I had stayed, I most likely would have stayed in the van, so who knows if I would have actually seen it--I'd like to think I would've, but..... Oh, I think it's interesting that on the way to dropping him off at his game, I said something like, "have fun & play your best" and he said something like, "I usually do/Yeah, I know...and hopefully I might even score a goal" and I then said, "yeah, maybe, but remember Brandon was 8 and a half before he scored his first goal"... Anyway, there ya have it! Yay for you, Ethan; we're all proud of you!! :)
