introducing...Shaelyn!!

My little brother (said that just for you, Mikey!), his wife and their 14 month old daughter came to stay with us last week for a few days while visiting all of the "fam" here in Utah. I hadn't seen Michael and Shelley since they were last here, Thanksgiving 2005 (which was also just about a week after we moved up from AZ). So obviously, I hadn't yet met my niece...although thanks to my sister-in-law's AWESOME blogging, I felt like I had been kinda getting to know her despite the distance (they live in NC). What a great time we all had!! :) It was so fun to be around Shaelyn; made me remember the things I miss about the stage she's at! It was also neat to see in person my little brother :) bein' a dad, and it was a blast to hang out with Michael and Shelley (yay for LOST--just to name one memorable moment! ...Speaking of LOST, those of you who watch must check out Shelley's blog post about last Thursday's episode since we were watching together when it happened: HERE!) :)

Here is Shaelyn having a snack a couple of hours after they arrived, with Autumn looking on...and sharing her snack, of course! :) Thought it was so funny that when Shaelyn saw me with the camera, she waved at me!

Michael and his daughter--needless to say, he was thrilled when Peter mentioned he had tickets for the basketball game last Wednesday night! Borrowed one of Peter's many BYU shirts, and off we all went!

Michael and "mini-Mikey"...if you've seen pictures of when Michael was little, you'd totally agree! (Hey, there's an idea for another blog post! Hee!)
