I've been tagged...

So, Shelley tagged my mom and then my mom tagged me, so I thought I'd post my answers on my blog for your reading enjoyment. Perhaps you'll even learn a thing or two! :)

RELATIONSHIP QUESTIONS

1. How long have you been together? um, I'd say almost twelve and a half years
2. How long did you date? too long! :) thirteen and a half months (engaged for a little over 5 months of that time)
3. How old is he? 34 and 1/2
4. Who eats more? dunno for sure--he doesn't love food like I do! :) I can say that for the past month, he's been eating more than me...
5. Who said “I love you” first? he did
6. Who is taller? he is, thank goodness :)
7. Who sings better? I do, but I enjoy hearing him sing, especially along to meaningful songs
8. Who is smarter? he just told one of the boys recently that I am...I may have gotten better grades in school, but he's definitely smarter in a few areas of life!
9. Who does laundry? I do...every day of every week; it never ends, it seems! :) (he helps when I ask him to)
10. Who does dishes? I do--he hates doing dishes, but he does them if I ask him to
11. Who sleeps on the right side of bed? when lying down, I'm currently on the right, but that changes at random
12. Who pays the bills? at the moment, he does...but overall, I've done it more often
13. Who mows the lawn? he does. I've offered, but we have a difficult front yard (on quite the slope and one part is a small 'L' shape) so he just says he'll do it--guess that easier to him than showing me how to get 'er done! :)
14. Who cooks dinner? um...we both occasionally do??? :) ...Don't do much 'cooking from scratch' around here... Lean Cuisines, mac & cheese, pb &j, chicken nuggets, soup from a can--that's our style more often than not!
15. Who drives when together? it's pretty equal, but he has a slight edge
16. Who’s more stubborn? gee...I'd have to say it depends again--we can both be pretty bull-headed, but I feel like he's usually the more stubborn one (wonder what he'd say 'bout me?!)
17. Who kissed who first? he kissed me first, 3 wonderful times in a row :)...October 20, 1995 in the parking lot outside my dorm after a Preference dance
18. Who asked who out? he asked me on an official date first, though we'd already been jogging and eating together (in the cafeteria) here & there as 'friends'
19. Who proposed? he did...November 27, 1996 at Natural Bridges State Park in Santa Cruz, CA--the beach just as the sun set

20. Who is more sensitive? I've always thought that I was by leaps & bounds, but I've been learning in recent years just how sensitive he actually is/can be

21. Who has more friends? Even he will tell you that I do, though since we moved here, there have been a plethora of times that I've felt he has had more friends than me--he has a good group of co-workers with whom he regularly goes out to lunch (including 'bowling lunches')

22. Who has more siblings? me--3 older sisters, 1 younger brother...he has 1 younger sister and 2 younger brothers

23. Who wears the pants? we both wear pants...ha! :) we both figuratively as well, but he's tells the boys from time to time that I'm the boss...
