Mostly My Kids...and a little me: hats & her sunglasses

she'll say, "you be superman-mom and i be superman-Autumn." she declares, "i'm a princess!" when i put one of my claw clips in her hair (mini or medium). when i put her down for a nap or for bed, she almost always asks me for kisses on her forehead, chin, eyes, cheeks, nose, mole (just under her jawline), eyebrows and just recently she's added ears to the list (which doesn't have to be in any particular order)--probably to stall. :) think i started that one by accident one time; since she was already laying down in her crib, i kissed my fingers and then touched them to her cheek (or was it both?). she is usually eager to help me put the clothes in the washer from her perch on the laundry basket turned upside down...she'll ask, "mom, is it gonna ssake (shake)??" she regularly incorporates Spanish words into appropriate spots in her dialog, thanks to Dora the Explorer. often catches me off-guard though and makes me smile and think, "how smart is she?!" :) she's just gotten into brushing my hair, which although at times turns out to be for only 3 seconds or she accidentally pokes me in my ear, i absolutely love having my hair brushed, combed, washed, etc.--so i'll take it & be oh so grateful for it. Peter was lying down yesterday, holding her above him, and she busts out with, "i'm like a waterfall!" (i'm guessing from the way her head, hair, arms and legs were dangling downward...) my favorite as of late is that she's finally responding to my "i love yous" without being prompted, saying, "i love you too." one time i said, "i love you too" after she said, "i love you too" and then she said, "i love you one." :) then i said, "i love you too" again and then she replied with, "i love you three." :) ...i can't get enough of this girl's beautiful smile, bold brown eyes, warm hugs & slobbery kisses, sweetly clean-smelling hair, giggles when tickled, singing at the top of her lungs her jumbled versions of the songs she knows, compassion for others--including the howling dog across the street, exuberance for so many things in life, friendliness with almost anyone & everyone (except Josh these days--shouldn't have shaved your head, dude; now your cousin is scared of you!)...
