like mother, like daughter

on Sunday, i was perusing through old slide pictures that had been taken many moons ago that my parents had put onto a DVD and given to each of us kids, which Peter then put on our computer... wow. what a trip! brought back an array of memories. found it quite interesting to ponder my varying facial expressions. the boys really enjoyed looking at a lot of the pictures, gettin' their kicks from so many wacky ones. Autumn seemed elated to learn that i was once a baby/toddler/little girl. anyways, i came across the picture below of me in that wonderful rocking chair...i remember i loved that thing. as soon as i saw the pic, i suddenly remembered that i took a picture of Autumn in that very same chair at my parents' house a while back (the day after Christmas 2006). so, i couldn't resist bloggin' about it. :) i don't know exactly how old i am in the picture, but i bet i'm pretty close to the same as age Autumn was in her picture. don't think we look related at all, but while looking at other pictures on Sunday, i think it was Ethan who said about one of the pics of just me, "that looks like Autumn." anyways, enjoy......

Go Brandon!! Cute pics of you and Autumn in the same chair...I still think Ethan really looks like his mom, but certainly see you in her too!

cute! it's fun to compare us to our kids, huh? i do it all the time, seeing myself through the eyes of my mother for the first time as i have a daughter who acts EXACTLY as i did when i was her age, and i can't wait for shaelyn to figure out that i was once a little girl too. where's that chair now?
